Sam was very informative and made a special effort to accommodate our particular interests. Lots of sightseeing and photo opportunities for my wife and a couple of interesting museums for me! We had a very full day and Sam made it especially enjoyable!
An excellent guide, Sam took us to all places of interest in Marseille. Thank you very much Sam.
This was our first time using Tours by Locals. Sam arranged a bus for our group of 10 with luggages for a full day excursion in Marseilles, Cassis, Axe-en-Provence and finally dropped us off to our river cruise ship at Avignon. Sam was very knowledgeable , efficient , warm and friendly. We all enjoyed his services . He made a believer of me in using Toursbylocals from now on. Thanks!
Sam was an excellent guide. He was prompt, informative, extremely accommodating, and interesting. My family all enjoyed themselves. I am so glad we booked this excursion which was one of our favorites during our week cruise holiday in the mediterranean. Cassis was a beautiful destination.
Sam was waiting at the exit of our cruise ship on time. He was extremely pleasant and very welcoming to our group. He then drove us into the city of Marseille where he described the buildings and they history. He made some stops to show us the history of the port and WWII which was very interesting. We then stopped at a local bakery which was amazing. We went to the Norte Dame, which was beautiful! We drive to Cassis for a delicious lunch, and got back to the ship on time. Sam is a great, knowledgable man
