Marseille Land and Sea Tour – 4 Hours

Would you like to discover the best of Marseille and its Mediterranean coastline during a 4-hour driving, walking and boat ride tour? If so, the tour “Combination Land and Sea” is made just for you!

Since Marseille and Provence have more than 300 days of sunshine per year, there is a good chance  you’ll to be bathed in the warm rays of the sun.

The boat ride will start in the Vieux-Port. We will take you to the peaceful, rocky inlets of la Côte Bleue where it is possible to swim and snorkel in the turquoise water. A mask and snorkel will be provided so that you can admire the coral and fish of the Mediterranean such as bream, mullet, sardines and sometimes even sea bass.

Afterwards, you will travel to the Frioul Islands and by the Château d’If where we will make a stop in a small and quiet lagoon with its crystal-clear water.

Boat ride are ideal for taking the time to navigate without stress. You will have the possibility to take the time to quietly observe the maritime landscape of Marseille.

Marseille’s Vieux Port

Then, we will bring you back to land at Marseille’s Vieux Port where a minivan will drive you to the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde which offers a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the Phocéenne city. The “Good mother”, as it is called by the residents, is a place of pilgrimage and an emblematic figure which watches over sailors and fishermen. A Provence Amazing Tour guide will point out all the principal landmarks from this viewpoint:  Saint Charles Station, Velodrome Stadium and the Cité Radieuse.
